that's us. :) the three graduates in the family. we're gonna be donning our graduation robes more times than we'd really fancy. at least there'd only be one chance only for our personal photos. :p we're regulars at raffles photography. beat that. hahaha.

whampoa dinners. a typical one. with more hokkien mee plates on the table than any other dish. with or without you. the dinners have gone on and will still continue to. :)

did you have a graduation present? this is mine. alll the way from hokkaido. :) from my aunt. and there's a burberry's pretty pink wallet from the us. from my lil uncle. :) i guess that makes up for no flowers on commencement day. haha.

we're all different yet the same. one big pot of ytf soup + 3 types of noodles. just a quiet saturday lunch. :)

so today i skipped talks. if it's any justification, it was only for an hour and a half. which really equates to half a day's travel time. :/ no regrets. except for sleepless naps. sigh. but i had a great time out. guess where i went? :) my tummy's suffering much torture. it wasn't too good to begin the day with. but yup. the company was the best! 1.30pm till 7pm. and hello bren. i missed you. how else would bumping into town happen if God didn't have a hand in it. :) blessed.

which is the mains? chilli. hahaha. everything else is a side. i think i'm pretty low maintenance. but i guess that's hardly enough at all.

if it's savoury then i'd prefer my carrot/yam/pumpkin cakes. if i needed a sweet then it'd be my polo/haw flakes. if i needed an in between? this'll be it! :) apam balik. which i guess is synonymous with min jiang kueh (peanut pancakes) from the chinese. but the chinese have many. thin crust, thick crust, rolls, puff shaped. but the malays stay simple. and those are the ones i really love. that thick chewy pastry and sweet/salty peanut filling with or without the option of a lil cream corn. mmm. it's dangerous when served hot. you just want to cram the whole thing in your mouth. well. my mouth. :)

just because we're in the same color family :) daddy's out of the country for more than just the weekdays. sigh.

they have been my pride and joy for the last two weeks. :) guess who's my favourite boy? he's definitely gonna break some hearts next time. so there's the laughter and the tears. who'd think my prayers for hands-on experience would be answered in the loveliest way possible? Psalms 27:14~ Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord.

did you have college memories? they aren't my classmates but hey, we've made it through more than just 2 years of classroom days. :) it was a night to remember. friday the 13th means a lot more to me than i'd like to know.

being silly was something i hadn't done in a while. church wedding event of the year. :) 7 years of dating and a wedding on 070707 :) was glad to be a part of it. i enjoyed the reception. missing the dinner is something i'm gonna regret for a long time.

proud parents. 4 years was a long time in coming. but it was good when it finally came. :)

the donut factory! :) it's not the perfect heart shape but it makes for a pretty decent jam filled donut with white chocolate glaze. it was sweltering heat today. thirty three degrees i kid you not. i sent out an emergency email declaring my unhappiness to mama yeo. to which she kindly replied a 'so how can i help cheer you up??????' i think she likes punctuations. she uses a billion dots, qn marks and exclaimation marks in her emails. hahaha. that's my youth day holiday. together with a spot of sewing.

sunday dinner. :) that's stir fried lean pork in baked bean sauce, double boiled pork ribs + carrot soup, fried seaweed (to go on top of our sticky australian rice), blanched kailan topped with stir fried sliced black mushrooms and lovely orange hued prawns. mmm. i love cooking. :) how was your sunday?
