The Sandwich Set with Turkey on Ciabatta Bread and Mushroom Soup.
Very woody and earthy mushroom taste. Light on the stomach with no addition of cream. Perhaps there was the addition of a roux to thicken the soup?
Turkey ham with cranberry sauce that was not at all tart! Oh the fear of all things sour *scrunches up face.
Tomatoes, lettuce and never forget the slice of cheese to bring everything together between the halves of a lovely toasted ciabatta. :)
Simple. Carrot cake with a cream cheese topping. Moist. Albeit a little too moist. Wasn't chock full of ingredients as I would have liked. Sweet enough for a post tea satisfaction. :)
And the loveliest flowers for a birthday gift. Thank you for the sweet thoughts and the treat for tea.
