 Three Hungry People

Dad (patiently waiting for his turn) : *thinks* Hmm. What should I order?
Lady with bike helmet (swings plastic bag around) : My tupperware is leaky. My soup is dripping all over me. Can I get it changed? (in dialect)

The boss (reaches for some braised fatty meat) : *thinks* I will continue to prepare the order. Just change the plastic bag or something already...

Everyone in the scene: *burps*

And... it's a wrap!

I went to eat this Lao San kway chap and was left disappointed. There was no one in the queue and yet I stood there for 15 minutes waiting to order and was ignored. A middle-aged woman then came and placed an order of a simple bowl of kway chap and the lady inside served her the bowl she was ladling for someone else immediately. Tht lady who came so much later then me shouts out her order and her order was served to her in less than 3 seconds. So I thought this stall probably doesn't take orders as all customers would just need to tell them their order straight without waiting for them to ask. So I told them my order and was snapped at by the lady, asking me to wait.
So after about 5 more minutes, the old man who was inside preparing the ingredients finally asked me for my order.
When my order came, it was a small bowl with a small plate of innards and an egg. Nothing impressive there.
It costs like $3.60 which was slightly more expensive than the average ones. I thought this better be good. I took a sip of the soup and the gravy, again nothing impressive. The kway was in huge chunks which makes it very difficult to pick up or even put on the spoon. Serving was very small and I took about a third of the waiting time to finish it.
